Smoked Duck Breast Flat Bread

Ingredients:

Prep time 15 minutes | Cook time 15 minutes

  • Store bought flat bread

  • 2 pc smoked duck breast

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1/4 lb roasted red peppers, sliced

  • 3 sprigs thyme, picked

  • 1/4 cup duck fat

  • Red Diablo, to taste

  • Arugula for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F

  2. Cut duck breast into 1/8” slices

  3. Caramelize with duck fat in a pan, at medium heat for 30 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes. At the end, add the thyme

  4. Assemble flat bread by adding duck breasts, caramelized onions and roasted peppers

  5. Place in oven for 10-15 minutes or until crust is brown

  6. Remove from oven. Drizzle with Red Diablo, and garnish with fresh arugula

  7. Slice to serve
