Smoked Duck Breast Flat Bread
Ingredients:
Prep time 15 minutes | Cook time 15 minutes
Store bought flat bread
2 pc smoked duck breast
1 onion, sliced
1/4 lb roasted red peppers, sliced
3 sprigs thyme, picked
1/4 cup duck fat
Red Diablo, to taste
Arugula for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400F
Cut duck breast into 1/8” slices
Caramelize with duck fat in a pan, at medium heat for 30 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes. At the end, add the thyme
Assemble flat bread by adding duck breasts, caramelized onions and roasted peppers
Place in oven for 10-15 minutes or until crust is brown
Remove from oven. Drizzle with Red Diablo, and garnish with fresh arugula
Slice to serve
